I finally got my project back! Here's Otto in all of his inked glory! There are two other layers, of course- regular skin and muscle

I think if I had more time or I did this again I wouldn't have added the collar bone, and the bones in the tail would have curved better with the form instead of looking so flat and... formless. Also, the thickness of the spine changes a wee bit too much for me.

Good job with Otto the Otter! For no apparent reason, the skeletal layer was my fave. :D

hehe, not really...! Just find reference for skeletal systems and try your best to make your creation look like it'd work! I just stared at an otter skeleton and a human skeleton for a while and tried to figure out what subtle ways I could mix them.

hehe, yeah... I guess we just get used to the long hours or something... I worked on this for quite a while, figuring out the bone and skin layer. The muscle layer was the one I had to rush and it ended up turning out pretty well too!
