So,

A quick update.

I finally got my power adapter for my computer so I can start noodling around with things again. I wasn't able to work on any of the Popgun stuff since my computer was out of commission, which means it won't get done by the end of the month unless I have help... I asked a few colorists and whatnot if they had time (the ones I thought matched my style) and they either said no or didn't get back to me. I have way too much homework, so this is not looking good! Help.

I've got a few paintings/studies almost ready for upload, and I'm doing a portrait of ~gibbz for class that should prove interesting! Now that I finally have a computer again I'll be able to do that SS from the break... I feel horrible for that, but that's life I guess and at least it will get done.

I just sat in on an intense board meeting at our school to decide if our design department (including illustration and character design) would have the same amount of representation as the fine art department. It was nuts! Anyways, we won and hopefully we'll be able to get some more support with the things we need because of it.

I've got another dentist appointment tomorrow followed by jury duty with the Marion Nicoll Gallery at my College. I get to go through all of the different submissions of people wanting to display at the gallery and vote on who made the better proposals and ultimately who should show. Its an interesting job, it pays, there's free dinner, and it looks pretty on a resume, so I like it.

Also, for my fellow geeks out there, I may of found a few good leads for finding a way to play Ragnarok Online on a Mac without bootcamp and Windows installed... More on that later.

Oh yeah, Join the forum! I was just speaking with one of my instructors and you ACAD people may be interested to know that I'm making them more aware of the forum and they may seek it out as a resource to deliver scholarship and special discussion opportunities to us. The busier the place is and the more traffic we get the better that idea will continue to sound to them, so keep posting and invite your friends!
