  • Mood: Tired
I was just featured in Antidull, a new online art magazine!

Thanks very much to John whom contacted me as well as everyone else at Antidull for the exposure, and all the best to them as well in their new magazine! Also, they take submissions, so you guys should check them out!

In other news, its final project time at school, 3 weeks left in this semester, and then I'll finally be able to get back to my personal arting as well as posting!

haha, indeed! Thanks! The poster you guys have to do is easy though, just make someone standing there all epic like and put a starburst behind them! hah. That's more or less what half of us did.

Yeah, funny thing is that most of the projects assigned to us (in C-block anyway) are basically a poster in one form or another:

-montage, for Figure Illustration (like a game poster ^^;)
-Cultural poster for CommDesignII
-figure epic poster for Figure Illustration
-random poster of whatever you choose for Design Tech (we have Guy Parsons)

The only exception is media exploration. ^^; Speaking of which, you wouldn't have an example of your "day in the life" project from last year, would you? I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around the concept/what it might look like...

I did mine based on Sonny Chiba. He's awesome.
I made some really shitty work last year. I just plain and simple didn't get it half the time. I'm not afraid to admit it either. I just didn't know what we were or were not allowed to do, until this year when I said eff it and did whatever I wanted to do and realized I should of been doing more of that all along.
Go nuts, above all else.
Here's my rough paintings:
