So, I've been working away on this comic and not only have I been having a lot of fun but I've been learning a lot from doing it. I always choose subject matter I'm not good at so that I can get better. I'm using an interesting technique that pushes things from grungy to clean depending on the character in the panel or on the page I'm working. Naturally, Yetithings are grungy.
I thought I'd give you a peak at what I've been using as a light table though:

My huge area lamp delicately balanced on chair and then shoved inside the coffee table, the glass of which is raised precariously by old VHS tapes.
That is totally ghetto. Works like a charm, so bright, but so hot. Keep having to continuously blow on the table while I ink. My roommate comes upstairs every now and then, laughs, and walks away.

Every time I try to write something clever here, I just end up sounding stupid.

I don't like calling it ghetto though, I call it resourceful
